Seven Wonders in Architecture

Paris is the capital city of France and one of Europe's major centres of finance, diplomacy, commerce, fashion, science and arts. The city is also home to two of my favorite historical sites, The Eiffel Tower and The Cathedral of Notre Dame de Paris.

New York City is the largest metropolitan areas in the world. It is also known as the cultural, financial and media capital of the United States of America. It is home to many iconic Art Deco inspired buildings like The Empire State Building and The Chrysler Building.

The capital city of England, London is famous for its impact on arts, commerce, education, entertainment, media, tourism and is truly one of the most important global cities. It is also home to the stunning Tower Bridge, built in 1886 over the river Thames.

A cluster of seven islands, Mumbai is the capital of Indian state Maharashtra. It is also known as the financial, commercial and entertainment capital of the country. It is home to some iconic historical sites like The Taj Mahal Hotel and The Gateway of India.

Kuala Lumpur, commonly known as KL, is the national capital and largest city in Malaysia. One of the fastest growing metropolitan regions in Southeast Asia, it is a cultural, financial and econimic centre of the country. It is also home to The Petronas Towers, an iconic symbol for Malaysia's growth.

Also known as the Northern Capital of Russia, St. Petersburg serves as a home to many government bodies and is an important trade gateway at the Baltic Sea. Although most of the city's architecture is Baroque and Neoclassical, The Church of the Savior on Spilled Blood reflects an older romantic nationalist style.

Globally renowned for its beauty, architecture and artworks, Venice has been of key importance during several artistic and musical movements. This Italian city has been a major cultural and tourism centre, and has often been called the most beautiful city in the world. It is also home to the stunning Bridge of Sighs.
